Description
An unforgettable site unfolded before our eyes one morning in Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. A vast herd of zebras converged upon this water hole. They approached the water’s edge with trepidation, on the lookout for any predators. Slowly they inched closer to the water. Clearly, they wanted to drink. We held our breath in anticipation and silent encouragement. One by one they cautiously approached the water and lowered their heads to drink. Eventually a silent signal was transmitted among the animals and many more came to drink. It was a fleeting moment of unity as the zebras quenched their thirst.

Wonderful composition, the zebras are all in the same pose in the foreground and then there's stripes everywhere!

A blurrrr of stripes, then wow- there they are - a multitude of Zebras well captured! Great work, Joan.
